HPC clinched the inaugural edition of JRD Tata Friendship Cup in both categories (Boys and Girls)
On the 118th Birth Anniversary of Bharat Ratna JRD Tata, Odisha Naval Tata Hockey HPC and Central Reserve Police Forces locked horns in two thrilling games of Hockey (Boys and Girls) on July 29, 2022 for the prestigious JRD Tata Friendship Cup trophy.
In the first match of the evening, ONTHHPC Girls secured a comprehensive 2-0 win over CRPF Girls. Notably, Kamla Singh and Ashima Rout scored the goals for home side.
Final Score: ONTHHPC Girls 2-0 CRPF Girls
It was then time for the Boys of both teams to clash against each other as the fans at Kalinga Stadium witnessed another cracking game of Hockey.
Much to everyone’s delight, it was Odisha Naval Tata Hockey HPC who emerged winners, once again with a score-line of 2-0, thanks to goals from Rosan Kujur and Anmol Ekka.
Final Score: ONTHHPC Boys 2-0 CRPF Boys
With the home side winning both the matches, the captains Munmuni Das (Girls) and Deepak Minz (Boys) lifted the JRD Tata Friendship Cup 2022 trophy.
